This piece was part of my 100 Day Project in 2024, where I explored color, shape, composition, and mixing of different mediums. My goal with this project was to work small (most pieces are 5 x 7 inches), stay loose, and enjoy the process of painting regularly. This painting is inspired by the view of Nehalem Bay in Oregon, as you look out towards the Pacific Ocean.
