Right down from the Van Damme State Park Campground in Northern California where we camped in the summer of 2022, we found this little beach that was fairly secluded, especially at high tide. The kids stood on rocks daring the waves to splash them and later everyone took a dip in the frigid Pacific (except me - I painted and made art out of the colorful seaweed). This painting came from the rugged, gorgeous scenery experienced on this part of the California coast.
