This painting started out being inspired by a giant looming cloud resting over Neahkahnie Mountain which is located in Manzanita along the Oregon Coast. This long beach is one of the most beautiful and an all time favorite of mine to visit. Of course, the painting took on a life of its own and it could be almost any west coast beach!
